Our Coroner - Christopher D. Nisbet

Christopher David Nisbet, son of Ms. Jean Nisbet and Mr. Trevor Nisbet, is a
long time resident of Dorchester County. Christopher holds a Criminal Justice
degree from Trident Technical College and is very involved in his community.
His activities include serving on the Board of Directors for the Frances R.
Willlis SPCA and Happy Days and Special Times.   Working tirelessly to
promote alcohol and drug free proms, and participating in local school events
to make children aware of the dangers involved in certain high risk
behaviors. He is an advocate of M.A.D.D. and Prom Promise.
Serving as a deputy Coroner from 1991 to 1996, Christopher decided to run for
the position when the former Coroner vacated his seat. Although several
candidates entered the race, Christopher was elected and is currently
serving his 3rd full term as Dorchester County Coroner. Christopher currently
lives in Summerville with his wife, Probate Judge Tiffany Provence. He has
two sons, Trenton and Drake Nisbet and one daughter, Mason Mei Nisbet.
