Register of Deeds Closes Today at 11:30 a.m. Due to Air Conditioning Problems Dorchester County’s Register of Deeds, located at 201 Johnston Street in St. George, is closing at 11:30 a.m. today due to a malfunctioning air conditioning system. The office is scheduled to re-open for business on Monday, June 17th, with normal operating hours from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Dorchester County to Hold 2013 Hurricane Expo for Local Residents The Dorchester County Emergency Management Department (EMD), in conjunction with LowCountry CERT and Lowe’s home improvement store, is hosting a Hurricane Preparedness Expo on Saturday, July 27, 2013. The event will be held from 9:00am to 12:00pm in the front parking lot of Lowe’s (9600 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485).
