Dorchester County Accommodations Tax ("ATAX") Funds are available for award each year. The Dorchester County Council appoints members of its Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee who represent the tourism industry in the County. This committee reviews ATAX applications and presents its award recommendations to County Council, and County Council issues the awards. The County Finance Department administers the ATAX award program in accordance with program guidelines established by the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee and County Council. The following ATAX forms and documents may help provide an overview of the Accommodations Tax program and how it is administered by the County.
