Berlin Myers Parkway- Phase 3
Overview: This project consists of new construction of a 4-lane divided roadway from Bacons Bridge Rd. (SC 165) to US-17 Alterative.
Traffic projections estimate this roadway will carry between 18,000 and 23,000 vehicles per day by 2030.
Update: The permitting package for Phase 3 of the Berlin Myers Parkway (BMP) was submitted to the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) in August 2016.
The most recent correspondence with the ACOE resulted in a new requirement of modeling the 500 year floodplain. This new requirement is expected to take an additional four months. Due to the delay, it is uncertain when permits will be issued and construction will begin. Updated March 10, 2017
