Rosebrock Park Trail

The pet-friendly park named in honor of former Dorchester County Councilman (1992-2012) Richard H. Rosebrock opened to the public in September of 201l.

Rosebrock Park features 1.5 miles of hiking trails that lead visitors from the parking lot trailhead through 70 acres of protected bottomland forest and wetlands to the banks of the Ashley Scenic River.

Located at 507 Beech Hill Road, Rosebrock Park is open from dawn to dusk and offers a covered picnic shelter (available on a first come, first serve bases) and 0.25 miles of Ashley Scenic River frontage.

Future planned park enhancements include permanent restroom facilities, a small picnic lawn, trail connections and trailhead rerouting.

Interpretive Panels

Park visitors can enjoy eleven trailside interpretive panels along the 1.5 mile trail.  The panels highlight park themes related to history, conservation, science, engineering and more.  Each sign also includes a QR code that provides a link for additional information.
